The Kinesis Wall

Inspired by nature and science, the Kinesis Wall fits with the Pinnacle Fitness philosophy of personal fitness designed for the individual client. There is no other gym in the state of Georgia that has Kinesis. The Kinesis Wall combines form with functionality. The smoothness of the equipment is engineered for strength, flexibility and balance focused work outs. Built into a wall, the 25-foot-long by 8-foot-high structure allows over 500 resistance-based exercises. By using a system of grips, cables and weight stacks, it ensures absolute fluidity of movement. It's a flat piece of equipment that houses four workout stations called "modules." Each module is geared to exercise specific regions, but the movements incorporate the full body and core. It brings exercise back to the basics of how the body is made to flow. It takes what the body does naturally, adds resistance, and calculates a formula that ends in giving the client a powerful workout that is gentle on the joints.

The most striking feature about the Kinesis Fitness Wall is its wide range of motion. Unlike the restraints of weighted cable equipment with their specific paths, the Kinesis Wall provides a far freer, more challenging movement. Instead of the body following the machine, it follows the body, allowing for a free range of fluid movement and will adapt to the body. Science has shown you will expend 30% more calories with the Kinesis Wall than traditional weight training.

The trainers use it for both one-on-one personal training, as well as group classes. People of all fitness levels can coexist in a class due to the principle of Kinesis: take your natural movement and add resistance to it paired with selecting a weight-bearing level, postures, and pace.

It's a great way to do a small group personal training session and allow someone at a lower level of fitness to blend in with comfort. It works by having the clients rotate from one module to then next. One does a military press, another does a reverse wood chop and another performs punching motions. Clients can take these classes in addition to their training sessions and, because the machine only has four stations, class size is small and the client receives personal attention.
